We are two small hobby kennels that span several generations of dogs and owners over some forty years of elkhound ownership.
Our dogs live in the house with us and are first and foremost much loved pets, who can expect to live out their whole lives as members of our extended family.
Over the years, a number of our dogs have been successful in the show ring, and we remain dedicated to maintaining the same type and quality in our current stock. We breed very infrequently with the aim of producing healthy, happy individuals who look as if they could hunt elk (alces alces), the job that they were designed to do.
With this aim in mind, we have visited shows in Scandinavia, Ireland and the USA in order to broaden our knowledge of the international elkhound scene. The friends we have made along the way have been an added bonus! We look forward to many more years of happy association with like-minded people who have the breed's best interests at heart.
We invite you to find out more about our family and our dogs. You can view the dogs' show records, pictures, pedigrees and current health tests, find out what it's like to be owned by a Norwegian elkhound or visit our photo gallery for more photos taken by Stuart. Don't forget to send us a message via the Contact page!
Check back frequently via the news page to see our latest wins and changes to the site.
This is the longest established personal elkhound website in the UK, first going live on Geocities in December 1997.
